LatticePower has been selected as one of the top 50 most innovative enterprises in the world
Recently, LatticePower was selected as one of the "Top 50 Most Innovative Companies in the World of the Year" by the authoritative MIT Technology Review magazine. The reason for choosing LatticePower is: "LED is highly efficient and energy-saving, and can be widely used in buildings and homes, but its price is expensive. LatticePower can produce high brightness LED luminescent materials on the most abundant silicon materials on Earth, which is expected to significantly reduce LED costs and enter the ordinary household lighting market
The selection involves industries including energy, computer, network, communication, biochemistry, and materials. The 50 companies selected include top international leading companies in various industries, such as Amazon, Apple, Applied Materials, Siemens, Google, IBM, Toyota, Facebook, Twitter, etc. LatticePower is one of the three Chinese companies selected this time and the only LED enterprise in the world.
Jason Pontin, editor in chief and publisher of Technology Entrepreneurship magazine, said, "The companies selected in the top 50 this time are leaders in their respective industries, and their innovative technologies have led the development of the industry." When it comes to the selection criteria, he said, "We did not take market share as the criterion, but instead focused on examining the innovation capabilities of the companies and the dominant impact their innovation capabilities have on the industry, that is, whether they have led the industry trend
The silicon substrate gallium nitride based LED technology owned by LatticePower is the third technology route outside of sapphire and silicon carbide substrates internationally. LatticePower is the world's first unit to produce and sell LED products on silicon substrates. The company has applied for or obtained more than 160 related patents and has fully independent intellectual property rights.
